La notizia, già diffusasi qualche ora fa, ha avuto conferma. Peter Steele è deceduto a causa di insufficienza cardiaca, ieri 14 Aprile 2010. A confermalo, al sito Blabbermouth.net, è stato il tastierista della band Josh Silver.
Peter Steele, vero nome Petrus T. Ratajczyk è morto all'età di 48 anni. Ricordiamo brevemente l'influenza che hanno avuto sulla scena tutta, i seminali e ferali Carnivore e l'umorismo nero e decadente dei Type O Negative.
